Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using Mermaid Toolkit for Google Docs™ ("the add-on"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please uninstall the add-on.

Description of Service

Mermaid Toolkit for Google Docs™ is a free Google Docs™ add-on that renders Mermaid diagram syntax as images within your documents. All rendering is performed client-side in your browser.

Cost

The add-on is free of charge. There are no paid tiers, subscriptions, or in-app purchases.

THE ADD-ON IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NONINFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR INTERRUPTION OF BUSINESS, ARISING FROM THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE ADD-ON.

User Responsibility

• You are responsible for the content of your diagrams and documents.
• You are responsible for maintaining backups of your documents.
• The add-on modifies document content (inserting or replacing images) at your direction — please review changes before saving.

Third-Party Components

This add-on uses the following third-party components:

• Mermaid.js — An open-source diagramming library, loaded at runtime from jsDelivr (cdn.jsdelivr.net). The add-on depends on this CDN to deliver the rendering library to your browser. No user data is transmitted to jsDelivr; only the library script is fetched.

The developer is not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of third-party services. If jsDelivr becomes unavailable, diagram rendering may be temporarily affected.

No Affiliation

This add-on is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by:

• Google — Google Docs™, Google Workspace™, and related trademarks are property of Google LLC
• Mermaid.js — Mermaid is an open-source project maintained by its own contributors

Availability

The developer makes no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. The add-on may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.

Changes to These Terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the add-on after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Updates will be reflected in this document with a new "Last updated" date.
